Manager, Renewables Development - Invenergy
Jared is a Manager, Renewables Development for Invenergy LLC with responsibilities for utility scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) and Energy Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) markets of the US. Prior to Invenergy Jared spent eight years with GE Power and GE Renewables in a variety of roles including Sales/Market Development, Product Management, and Project Management for both wind turbines and reciprocating internal combustion engines fueled by natural gas as well as special gases such biogas, synthesis gas, and hydrogen. Earlier in his career Jared served as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard where he was responsible for the ships and people that accomplished several of the Coast Guard’s core missions including maintaining U.S. waterways with aids to navigation, icebreaking, enforcing federal fisheries regulations, and responding to search and rescue cases.
Jared earned a B.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business. Additionally, he graduated from GE’s Junior Officer Leadership Program for transitioning military officers.
Jared lives in Fort Collins, CO with his wife and son.
